Time to make good with my threat from yesterday and start inflicting my favorite internet sites upon you all!
Since I seem to have addicted my sister to this one recently, let’s start with Not Always Right.
If you’ve ever worked retail, I’m sure you have a story or two about That Customer. You know, the one that didn’t have a clue, was rude beyond belief, or just plain strange. Well, Not Always Right is a collection of those stories, with most of the ranting stripped away to leave delightful little tidbits of the variety that is humanity.
So, if you have Customer Stories of your own, or just like shaking your head at the stupidity that’s out there, this is an excellent site. There’s also several sister sites on related topics. Not Always Working is the flip side, with stupid employee and coworker tales. Not Always Learning tells of the hijinks the supposedly educated and their subjects get up to. Not Always Related is for all those dumbfounding things your family says. If you want crazy stories of what your friends get up to instead, visit Not Always Friendly. And last but not least, for the people you love the most, there’s Not Always Romantic.
Warning: these sites are time-eaters. They’re great fun, but Not Always Right alone has nearly 2000 pages in its archives. And they’re solidly in the “Just one more page… Wait, why is the sun rising in the east?” category. You can easily forget to actually interact with the world thanks to the Not Always family.
